Bought a new 2026 3500 dually
Chevy last October , question how much clearance does most people have with this new tucks , I am going have the axle’s raised
Right I 4and 1/8 “ from tailgate to trailer

I get nervous of anything less than about 7". And that is tight.

Richard is correct, we get nervous with anything less than 7, preferrable 8 or 9 and then you may have to add a ramp at the back.

Just did this on a '07 Bison with Dexter Axles. Are Ready made blocks to do this but only to 3+ Inches. Adjusting the Coupler will be another avenue to look into.
